Matthew E. Aronson

A graduate of McGill Law, Me. Matthew E. Aronson is a member of both the Barreau du Quebec and of the Law Society of Ontario.

Me. Aronson specializes in the areas of corporate commercial law, real estate and immigration law, with a focus on governance in both for-profit and non-profit corporations & charities. His practice mostly consists of assisting small and medium sized businesses and NPOs with a wide variety of matters, including work permits for foreign nationals, transactions, leasing, and structuring. He is also a specialist in obtaining work permits and permanent residency for caregivers.

Me. Aronson began his career at one of Canada’s premiere corporate commercial law firms, and has since gained experience in a boutique litigation firm and a well-known immigration firm before moving in-house at an international private equity firm as an Asset Manager and Advisor on Real Estate matters.

He returned to private practice in 2015, has advised a number of start ups through their establishment and growth, as well as assisting arts and community-oriented charities and non-profit organizations. He currently serves on the Boards of Notre-Dame-des-Arts and La Semaine des Arts, as well as serving as VP Legal for MKRLAB, a makerspace in nearby Notre-Dame-des-Grace.
